372 Days of Unforgivable Abandonment in Hell
On Day 372, in a powerful act of defiance, the family members of the hostages held in Gaza—Ifat Kalderon, Einav and Natalie Zangauker, Zahiro, Gina C. Waldman, Yehuda Cohen, Yael and Naomi Or, Naama Weinberg—along with activists, blocked the Ayalon Highway immediately after Yom Kippur, holiest day in Judaism. While this sacred day represents a final chance for forgiveness and redemption, they declared that such grace should not be extended to the government. Frustrated by the government's inaction, the protesters lit tires, unfurled banners, painted the hostages' names on the highway, and demanded immediate action: a hostage deal, a ceasefire, and an end to the war.
